Due to somewhat warmer weather and some snow melting and aided by much less
line noise than last year, I laid down a TA BOG, about 330 ft at 40 deg on
top of the snow in my east field. 1467 France was in reasonably well at 2330
UTC and audible much of the time in 4 Khz bandpass with EE evangelical
preacher. This is one of the easiest TA's here, now that IBOC hammers 1134,
but you have to catch it before they s/off 2345 most days except 2400 on
Sundays if I have observed correctly.
1215 had that low het from the off freq Albanian hetting Virgin et al, but
no audio. Het was gone 0000 so can presume Albania went off. Bits of mx and
FF talk on 1206 and a few other carriers like 1521, but all in all not a
good TA night so far.
73 KAZ Barrington IL recommending that those in the midwest look for 1467 if
needed.
