Mike, Yes, another one bites the dust. At this rate Canada will no longer have any AMs. However I do suspect there will still be a few around to fill the void as Canada has so much rural area that a 50 KWer is needed to cover much of it. Maybe what is needed is a station on 540 in the cener of the country as in CBK, but to boost to 500 KW or more to cover the whole place. However, during daylight hours may be an issue even with high power. Or maybe two or three on a single frequency to cover everything.
