Well, a few days late, but my trip to Greenville on the 19th did
confirm that WOOW is still on the air with preaching and local spots. I
have heard the Wilmington station, driving to/from Greenville, but not
so this time - was hoping to get a format check.

And, since my inquiry started this, my reception could as easily have
been WLSG in Wilmington as there was nothing ID'able - I mostly wanted
to know the status since I've never heard WOOW.
