Another interesting morning, some strongish signals, and a couple of unusual
ones: 1206 setting up a big hum on the channel with occasional audio, and the
1053 jammer, not strong but pretty consistent over the time period of 1250 to
1310UT. Most other signals were as erratic as they have been for the last while.

The propagation monitor says there was some action a little later, but I had to
fit in breakfast and getting ready for work somewhere. Also there was activity
in the 1000 to 1130UT period, but have to fit in sleep somewhere also.

Asiatic unless otherwise noted:

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 828 (NHK2)

reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 594 (NHK1), 747(NHK2),
774(NHK2), 1053 (Korean jammer, no sign of Japan whenever I checked)

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 567 (NHK1
//594), 1206 (likely China, with big hum on the channel)

Burbles in the splatter and noise: 612 DU, 738 (Australia? EE inflected talk,
but low level), 873 (NHK2), 972 (likely Korea), 1134 (likely Japan, not
//972), 1566 (monster carrier; this one seems to getting poorer modulation as
the days go by), 1575

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1287,
1422, 1475

Great that Dennis is snagging those Japanese regionals. Most just don't seem
to able to get past the splatter here, and if they get to audio, it's only
briefly.

best wishes,

Nick
