Better late than never; was out for coffee with some local DXers last night, and domestic duties swallowed the rest of the evening, and this never got sent.
As for the morning, I think that the peak listening may be happening before I can crawl out of bed, as things seem OK about 1240UT, but seem to collapse rapidly after that. The conditions of the 24th showed a couple more Asiatic signals, with about an equal number of DU's also. Asiatic unless otherwise noted: pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): none reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 702 (likely 2BL per the loop, and seemed to be Aussie English), 774 (NHK2 and 3LO mixing), 828 (NHK2) not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 576 (DU per the loop) Burbles in the splatter and noise: 567 (DU per the loop), 594 (NHK1), 846 (DU per the loop), HLAZ-1566, big carrier as always Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1098 DU best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
