Made the effort to get up earlier (listened fro 1220 to 1250UT), and was
rewarded with not much; conditions seemed to be poorer than yesterday, but
heard more because of the early start. Using the SDR-14 and the signal
strength software (DX Fishbarrel), did allow snagging of NHK2 on 1386 however,
but that was barely there for less than a minute. A form of extreme DXing I
guess, grubbing around in the carriers for DX, any DX.

Asiatic unless otherwise noted:

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): none

reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): none

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 774 (NHK2)

Burbles in the splatter and noise: 738 DU, 747 (NHK2), 828 (NHK2), 954 (there
it is again, assumed Japan), 1287, 1386 (NHK2 //774), 1566

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1053,
1098 DU

best wishes,

Nick
