Made the effort to get up earlier (listened fro 1220 to 1250UT), and was rewarded with not much; conditions seemed to be poorer than yesterday, but heard more because of the early start. Using the SDR-14 and the signal strength software (DX Fishbarrel), did allow snagging of NHK2 on 1386 however, but that was barely there for less than a minute. A form of extreme DXing I guess, grubbing around in the carriers for DX, any DX.
