Started too late at 1230UT this morning, though actually had planned not to get up at all, so anything heard was a bonus. In fact seemed all DU, though the propagation monitor hints that a more Asiatic opening (a little opening, mind) occurred about 20 minutes before, so it looks like getting up closer to 5AM is the only option if DX is to be heard...
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): none reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): none not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 2BL -702 Burbles in the splatter and noise: 594 (seemed DU per direction and intonation of talk), 738 w/ a big carrier, likely 2NR, 1512 likely 2RN, but no parallel, and 4QD-1548 //702; first time 4QD has been heard in awhile, 1550 is just too splattery Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1566, seemed Asiatic best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
