Appears one has to get up distinctly early now, but I suspect conditions were
pretty good also. In this case it was towards Asia rather than Down Under
though, at least to start. Listened from 1155 to 1215UTC, so there may have
been DUs later,

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): none

reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 747 and 774 both NHK2,
though there might have been something else (3LO?) on 774

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 702, 2BL by
direction on the loop as well as inflection of talk

Burbles in the splatter and noise: 828 (NHK2), 846 (DU per the loop), 972
(Korea per the loop), Korean jammer 1053, 1116 seemed to be DU, 1134 Asian per
the loop, 1287 sounded like JJ inflected talk, no direction found, 1512 DU per
the loop

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 738
DU, 1269, 1323 which was slightly off channel, so suspect this may have been
the Chinese?? pretty unprecedented at this time of year, 1566 (this was before
the boost at 1230UT)

so, pretty darn good morning for May.

best wishes,

Nick
