Much better TP morning today, with all of the action appearing to be
DU and all of it 1098 and below, except for a nice appearance of
1701+. About 20 channels of low band had some level of signal, with
the following peaking at 6 or 7, unless otherwise noted:
702
738
747
756 (briefly at near 8 with DU EE at 1225)
765
774
963 (briefly at near 8 with DU EE at 1215)
1701.05 (briefly at near 8 with Bollywood mx at 1220)
My first run was at 1135 and my last run an hour later. Dawn is
listed as 1219. The timing was quite conventional, with some stuff
there at 2s or 3s at 1135 and much more available in the last 20
minutes before dawn. I was surprised that the best audio that I heard
on 756 (Radio National outta NZ) was 5 minutes after dawn.
Nick, I understand your reluctance to get up at 4:30AM on work days.
That is at least an hour too early for me, tho' I'm in the
"post-employment years." (That is an actual US guvmint term, BTW)
I'm kind of working my way back into the band in preparation for a
trip to Grayland one of these days. As soon as I'm thoroughly back
into it, I hope NOT to be reporting consistently until August.
Unfortunately, our cat views it as his life's work to get me out of
bed at dawn's earliest light, now about 4:20AM. Once I'm up and
dressed, he goes back to sleep, the [EMAIL PROTECTED] I keep waiting for
this "old people need less sleep" routine to kick in, but no luck so far!
