Look at that 50 KW night pattern plus I suspect the tx is somewhat near the water ? Anyhow, this will be a barn burner for far east DXers.

73 KAZ hoping the 34 KW ND can make it here by sunset skip this fall/winter.

To go 50KW Day, they'd probably need more then one tower by day.. and as it
is right now, with only nights being directional, they only need ine
phasor.............. the more directional patterns you have, the more
complicated and expensive it gets to build.... and to go up 17KW, add a few
towers, another phasor.. is too cost prohibitive and not worth it.

Paul,

Thanks. I guess the old pattern (app) was changed to protect KAST-1370.
My question for the 33/50 K, was, why can't they have 50 KW ND days?
KAST? KRKO is hardly audible here days. Very weak, if at all with 5KW.
OK at night. But with 50 KW ND days, I doubt they would QRM KAST at 170
miles.
