Hey guys: I too was the fortunate recipient of a SW-5 from Gary, and it's simply the most sensitive portable I've ever used, amazing for its modest size. The urban RF near Seattle here gives it fits with various mmixing and image signals, but for sheer pulling power, nothing can beat it (except maybe the Uber-SPR with the Amidon/Litz coil Gary has created...).
