No. no. no. No.

Contact cleaner is a really bad idea -
I find that my mother-in-laws remotes get gummed
up with something I call "primordial ooze" -- do not
know how it gets there.

I kid you not: Soap and water on the contact pad (made of rubber generally)
and a wipe of the contacts with some soft tissue and soapy water.

Contact cleaner will totally foul these kinds of remotes if not destroy them.
