Barry,  Yes, the groundwave in the day is more stable. That is when you
want to adjust the control to find the "Sweet Spot". The directivity of
the EWE is still the same at night, but the skip angle is different. It
is almost impossible to set the control at night with skip coming in
from differerent angles.
