Radio Magazine is reporting that Mexico has approved HD IBOC for AM & FM stations within the 200 mile US border zone. This was done to allow stations in the border zone to have equal competition with US technology. The stations must first request permission from the authority and must then promise to assist the authority in ensuring proper rollout of the technology.
