Until a couple of years ago KJR was a pop/rock station running on 5 kw from
towers on Vachon Island across the harborfront from downtown and threw the
strongest signal of all the greater Seattle stations into Victoria. When they
went to sports they applied for a move of their towers to a location south of
Tacoma and a power boost to 50 K but must have changed direction as they now
are the weakest signal here daytime.---Bill in BC
