Has anyone in Southern California noted increased signal from XEMBC in the last
year or so. MPM now shows power as 2,500, and FCC data base has for a couple of
years shown a 2,500 DA-D listing. I checked the data base for antenna pattern
and found a surprising amount of signal apparently authorized to go north.
Here's the plot:

Rather interesting development. Also, does anyone know (or can anyone find out)
about actual power of XECL. Most sources list day power as 5,000 watts, but
SCT, the governing body of broadcasting south of the border says 1,400 watts
day, 3,000 watts night. (FCC data base shows 5,000/3,000.) Is there a story
here?
