WMTN brings back a wave of nostalgia for me. It was December 1957, I
was recently out of the USAF (honorably) & had just found employment at
The Senator Hotel in Sacramento. I was staying in a rooming house and
on 12/16/57 equipped only with a small table model radio (forget brand
name) provided by the rentor heard a good part of a NRC DX from WMTN on
that Monday morning. Received a nice verie as well. Perhaps conditions
were better then?
