Apparently, I was told KMCQ-FM The Dalles, OR went silent Friday afternoonr or evening. For anyone who forgets, it was 100KW/1995 feet but has a Construction Permit to move to Covington, WA with 25KW/318 feet, south of Seattle.
It may or may not already been on in Seattle, that I don't know for sure. This was the station that caused all the checker board moves.. including First Broadcasting buying a Small Class A on 103.9 and a Class C on 1490 in Forks, WA a town of 4500 people and moving the FM to 96.7.... they've been oeprating that station at a loss for MONTHS and rumour has it they want it off their books BAD, and will sell it for ALOT less then what they paid.
