Yes, the old 840 Grande Prairie. Both Grande Prairie's disappeared from AM, both 840 & 1050. Retuning a transmitter for a new frequency is fairly easy to do, so the transmitters could end up anywhere. At the cost of a new transmitter, I can imagine that used ones in good contion would be in demand. When I worked at KVAS Astoria in the 70s, the old 1 KWer was from 1937 and the 250 watt was frm 1950, when the station sign on. The OM at KAST/KKEE tells me they have all been replaced with newer solidstate gear now.
