What a mess this station has become. I remember them as KOIN when they
were one of the top stations in the Portland area. Unfortunately we
have a bunch of similar messes here in the Bay Area.

Portland's KCMD 970 has switched it's name from "Solid State Radio"
to "The Talker". I read that the switch was done June 23.
