Didn't really have time this morning for listening, some checks between 1230
and 1300UT, but definitely sounded different from yesterday. Signals were more
erratic and more inclined to be DU, and certainly weaker. Later, I found out
that a small geomagnetic storm had taken place.

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
none

reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash or noise):
594, first worthwhile signal this season oddly enough
774 at various times
828 // 774 briefly
(all Japan, in spite of higher K index)

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
612

Burbles in the splatter and noise:
567 Asia, likely Japan, becoming DU later
693 //774 JJ
747 //774 JJ
963 (2 stations; DU and China?)
1224
1314
1332
1575
1593
(many of these were hard to find direction, but seemed DU)

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): (DU
unless noted) 738 , 972 (Asia), 1098, 1548, 1611

best wishes,

Nick
