Thanks for the update, Jerry. From what I was told, that in the past (90's) they had only a 50 Kw transmitter aimed solely at South America. Good to hear that they have pumped it back up, somewhat and added another "target area". Didn't they used to be 150 Kw or something like that?
In the 70's and 80's, I could hear them on any radio that I had in the house. 73, Dave in Indy ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Thu, 4 Sep 2008 21:47:49 EDT From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IRCA] Trans-World Radio 800Kc To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" I had a conversation today with Jim Munger with Trans Radio Radio, he replied they are in fact running a 100kw transmitter in Bonaire. They have installed a Kintronics DA-2 phasor to feed their four tower array. The two markets they are targeting these days are South America and Cuba with the two different patterns.
