Good Morning,
Yesterday's great conditions were long gone this morning, with only the
594, 747, 774, 828 and 972 powerhouses having much audio. Seasonal
performers like 648, 657 and 666 were there with weak audio, but of the ones
that had
threshold audio yesterday (684, 756,1035,1107,1116 and 1143), only 756 and
1035 came up to threshold audio this morning (around 1340 UTC), even on the
30" loopstick ICF-2010.
It was fun chasing powerhouse audio on a stock SRF-39FP, though, with
JOIK-594 and JOIB-747 providing the best signals. Despite this fun diversion,
low average might be the best description for this morning, quite a
disappointment after yesterday.
