Was up at 1250UTC to deal with an unexpected elderly family member crisis... sorted that out and managed to listen from 1320 to 1330 UTC.
Like Walter says - very dynamic... I actually spoke with Walter yesterday about doing a listening session from a water-front location... got my wish this morning after getting a call from mom-in-law who needed some assistance... >From my car radio on "Beach" Drive in Oak Bay, Victoria it was clear that the band was hopping.. tuning 10khz channels (I could not quickly remember how to shift to 9khz spacing...) I could hear searing hets on 740, 750, 770, 830, 970, etc. By the time I got home for a quick scan on the Eton E1, there was audio on 531, 567, 576 (Russian), 585, 594, 612, 621 (actual muddy audio...), 639, quick sweep up to 738... 747, 756, 774, 828, 936 (Huge Chinese), 945, 954, 963 (Huge), 972(loudest I have heard them this season...) And that was it - in the space of 10 minutes listening. Fell back into bed. -- Colin Newell - Editor - coffeecrew.com | coffee.bc.ca | DXer.ca Web-Design / E-Commerce / Writing Victoria, British Columbia, Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
