Highly abbreviated:

Colleague at work took an SRF-59 on a re-positioning cruise from
Vancouver B.C. to Honolulu Hawaii over the past 2 weeks.

The first 5 days at sea heard nothing but some Japanese
at 5 AM some mornings. (detailed report to follow)

While in Hawaii the "dial came alive" -- again,
more details to follow.

Another colleague took the Grundig G6 Aviator to Glasgow,
Scotland - and he had a hoot with it -
MW was chock-a-block with signals from England, France, Holland
and Germany - very impressed at the ease of operation and
quality of reception.
