Highly abbreviated: Colleague at work took an SRF-59 on a re-positioning cruise from Vancouver B.C. to Honolulu Hawaii over the past 2 weeks.
The first 5 days at sea heard nothing but some Japanese at 5 AM some mornings. (detailed report to follow) While in Hawaii the "dial came alive" -- again, more details to follow. Another colleague took the Grundig G6 Aviator to Glasgow, Scotland - and he had a hoot with it - MW was chock-a-block with signals from England, France, Holland and Germany - very impressed at the ease of operation and quality of reception. -- Colin Newell - Editor - coffeecrew.com | coffee.bc.ca | DXer.ca Web-Design / E-Commerce / Writing Victoria, British Columbia, Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
