Just got home from Grayland Beach State Park. Upon arriving at Grayland, found Grayland Motel & Cottages closed. Headed over to the above State Park and spent 3 mornings DXing from yurt 80. Set-up two broadband loops. SW 250 degrees 93' & NW 290 degrees 76'. 27 new TP's heard on the Steve Ratzlaff modified eton e100 using the broadband antennas. 3 Australian stations, not including 531 with Rock music. Have to review tape on this one. 9 Chinese stations 10 Japanese stations 1 Republic of Korea station 1 DPR of Korea 1 Marshall Island 1 Tahiti 1 Russia Total TP's heard on Ultralights are 40. (Salmon Creek & Grayland) Wednesday afternoon around 5:00 PM PDT, hooked the e100 up to 400' of wire out on the beach running North-South. No grounds or transformers used. KSL 1160 good signal, 1700 Mexican station KNX 1070. No over loading. 56 TP's heard on the JRC NRD 545. 9 hours of TP dxing. Enjoyed our stay at Grayland Beach State Park and will return again. There's a great sea food restaurant in Westport. "One Eyed Crab" A great sea food stew and halibut fish and chips.
