Hello Guys,
Tacoma-850 has apparently pulled the plug on their hiss machine, at
least temporarily. First noted yesterday morning during TP DXing, it's still
silent, allowing easy daytime reception of Portland on 860, and reception of
Seaside-840 around sunrise and sunset. 864-HLKR was a fairly easy sunrise
logging, with 837 having weak audio, but still unidentified. 846 and 855 have
had only weak heterodynes on the modified ICF-2010. Tacoma area DXers
certainly won't miss the hiss.
