Had the great pleasure of hosting a visit from Colin Newell to the "urban
antenna farm", with Colin arriving about 14:00 UTC. Conditions were still
quite good, but definitely down from yesterday's fantastic conditions. I
listened from 13:49 to 14:40 or so. The big difference from yesterday was that
the upper half was wide open with many stations in audio, but usually at only 6
to 7. Again, exclusively an Asian morning with the JJ, KK and CC all coming in
well. Great enhancement after 14:00. Before that, things simply weren't all
that great. Here's what was heard, with "6" unless otherwise noted:

LW Russians (7 to 8): 180, 189, 234, 279

Overall, not a bad morning at all, ....about on par with an average September
morning, but well down (except for the upper band) from yesterday morning's.
Great DX to all, and thank you to Colin for joining me for a bit of DX
excitement! ......Walt.
