Despite the urge to catch the extra hour of sleep this morning, my internal
"DX" clock woke me up about 14:00, and I was able to DX through to 15:40.  A
very strong JJ morning again with plenty to hear, but also a smattering of
others too.  180 and 279 were both well heard, with 180 better for a change
compared to 279.  The NHK2 stations were more abundant, I thought, than the
NHK1s with 774, for example, being still a 7 to 8 at sign-off at 15:40.  738
had a hodge-podge of stations, with the Australian at a 9 briefly at one point,
but not heard on later rechecks.  873 seemed particularly strong my way from
NHK2 this morning, equal to 747, 828, and the usual dominant 774.  The North
Koreans were there, but weaker than many mornings, and I think the CC were way
down.  963, for example was barely audible.  Yanbian in KK, however, was a
solid 9 here.  Nothing else obvious from DU noted.  I don't have my list since
I was called away for another delivery.  73s to all, and as usual, I look
forward to the report from Grayland!  ..........Walt.
