Given the conditions KFNW Fargo is a distinct possibility. I must look for further clues (now I know what I might be looking for!)..

"Good News Radio" sounds religious...perhaps KFNW Fargo, which just recently upgraded to 50 kW, sending most of that power up over the poles?
