Speaking of which, every item except the Ettus SDR sold within several
hours, once I put the ads on the ham swapnets. But I put it on IRCA list
first, to give anyone interested a better chance. The Sony 2010 sold within
a couple of minutes of the IRCA ad being sent!

real bargains compared to the ebay prices on the R8 and JRC 535.
He does give a great deal of information and company history of the
equipment
he sells. His pictures are good and this helps in the bids he receives.

Check out this eBay auction for a Drake R8 that just ended, item
390006163936
It sold for $642!!! Must be gold-plated to fetch such a high price. Very
creative ad by the seller probably helped. (He has an R8A currently on
auction, wonder what it will go for.) The winner must have desperately
wanted an R8. I don't think I paid much more than that for the last R8B I
had a couple years ago, which is a much better radio than the R8.
