Hi Willis,

Sapporo sunset is around 0700UTC (or "z" as Bill indicated) right now, so this 
would have been a darkness path for over 3 hours.   And you folks in the rest 
of the continent are probably getting tired of us west coasters getting excited 
about Japanese and Russian fade-ins up to an hour before their local 
sunset....At this time of year, far northerly paths seem to be viable even when 
the sun is up.

And, Japan has been heard on an ultralight radio in Oklahoma recently, so it's 
definitely worth hunting for from all over the continent.
