Hi Willis, Sapporo sunset is around 0700UTC (or "z" as Bill indicated) right now, so this would have been a darkness path for over 3 hours. And you folks in the rest of the continent are probably getting tired of us west coasters getting excited about Japanese and Russian fade-ins up to an hour before their local sunset....At this time of year, far northerly paths seem to be viable even when the sun is up.
