I'm about 80 miles north of San Francisco. During the day they are kinda audible, but just before sunset (pattern change?)they start smokin' in.
Bob Coomler Cloverdale, CA Yep, they're (at least!) 10kW and very directional, putting tons of signal up the California coast and not nearly so much to the east (though they are still widely heard). The engineering parameters for this station are rather, um... creative. They ID a lot more often these days, but only in Spanish. I almost always catch an ID around 6am. 73 Tim Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: Mike Sanburn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 8 Dec 2008 12:35:52 To: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [IRCA] 1700 San Diego As the other Mike said--They are indeed XEPE!!
