Not quite sure what life is like for the rest of you, but currently
up here in the North-west it is unusually cold...

like about 26 degrees (F) or -4 (C) with a wind-chill of about -16.

Unusual considering that the average temperature in Victoria B.C this
time of year is 42 degrees (F) - nope, it is not a frigid wasteland
North of 49 like most of our brothers and sisters south of the border assume.

You want cold - try Minnesota... or Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Anyway - the gang up here; Hall-Patch, Salmaniw, Newell and Co. are all
huddled in their ice-houses, their fingers frozen to the teeny dials
of their Sony Prison radios... it is rough.

Hopefully, this Friday, Jack Winter permitting... our call-sign will become
VA7WWV/KH6 on day one of our "Hawaii Five-Oh" tour... yup. Special birthday this
Christmas!

If the weather permits. If we can get to the Vancouver airport via our
puddle jump flight from Pat Bay, Victoria.

Fingers crossed... and frost bitten.
