When I worked for Cherry Creek Radio in Williston, North Dakota they referred to the AM station as "NewsRadio 660 KEYZ(pronounced Keys) Country KEYZ"
The station was classic country, but heavy on news and information.... and used that slogan as a way to imply what they were to give listeners an idea before they even tuned in... so you knew, even if you weren't a classic country fan, where to tune in. It was nothing more then a slogan, KEYZ has been Classic Country for YEARS and still is. The CJWW thing is probably nothing more then a position statement.. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
