Must've been KKIM that I had briefly surfacing on 1000 around the same time last night, running a spot for the chamber-music ensemble "Concertante" performing at the KiMo Theatre in Albuquerque next week. (Leave it to a classical-music announcer/programmer to pick THAT out as a program detail, hi!) Soon descended back into the soup on frequency.
I think it was also Chris Knight who mentioned CKWX-1130 blasting in last night... they were as loud or louder here than they've ever been last night around 11:15pm CST, again with reports on the power outages in the wake of the Vancouver snowstorm, "Weather on the 1's" and "News 1130" IDs. Not bad for just 38 watts! No chance for KOMO tonight... Chris Knight Fort Lupton, Colorado
