Go for it, Dennis. I have the Terk and Twin Coil, and use them both with the ULr's. Side by side comparisons generally yield slightly better nulls with the Terk but better gain with the Twin Coil; inductively coupled to a modded E100. Both have their advantages and are fun to play with. If you get a chance, go to the Ultralight Radio Files section of downloads in dxer.ca and you'll find a paper titled e100_twincoil. The whole shooting match in a handy-dandy 13x10x4 plastic carrying case. Fun, fun!

Crane Twin Coil Ferrite AM Antenna I am seriously contemplating getting one. Santa brought me a couple of Fry's gift cards and their price is $79.90, a substantial discount. I already have the Select-a-Tenna and Terk (same as RS) passive loops. If anyone has the C. Crane and one of the other two loops I'd like to hear about how they are alike and how they are different. 73 _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected] _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
