Hey Brandon:

It should work great.  I have a MW550P and the Palstar AA-30
preselector-preamp.  The AA-30 works great with a Terk Loop, and the
resulting signal is equal to a Quantum Loop (of course, you have to tune
two things instead of one, but I like tweaking).  The MW550P might be
better suited since it has two different impedance inputs, and the box
loop sense coil might have a pretty high impedance.
