I just received a report (via Glenn Hauser) that the Caribbean Beacon
station
in Anguilla on 1610, which has been silent for many years, is on the air
again per a report by Juan Gualda in Florida (and that the SW on 6090
and 11775 kHz
was silent).
Can anyone confirm that Anguilla is back in the air again? Should be
a easy
catch just about anywhere east of the Mississippi at least - I remember
hearing them nightly on a barefoot GE Superadio when I lived in
Edmonton AB
in the mid 80's
