Hi everyone, It still is a bit amazing on how well the Eastern beverage did on LW TA's, when I could not get a peep using the beverage on MW. In the process, I was trying to fiqure out if I move the beverage more to the North, but I don't see any way. In the process, I took the compus out and I have been saying for years, the beverage runs at 90 degrees. I was wrong!!! It runs at 60 degrees!!! I measured the angle of the EWEs in the past, but not the beverage for some reason. That changes things a bit in regard to TAs. Still too directional from 60 to 30 degrees to get TAs on MW, but apparently not on LW as the 1500 feet is 1/4 WL on 200 kHz. A beacon DXer wrote me that he has an ALA 100 that he can loan me as he is not using it. So it will be interesting to compare the ALA with the other antennas. If it works as well here as others report, I will buy one.
