Thanks Chris; Kevin also thought that the uniform shape of the Crate may indeed work better than just a random spool of unused wire. The "method behind my madness" was an article that I had read about 20 years ago where someone had inserted coils of wires (of equal size) with uniform spacing in a beverage system and the author stated that it worked as good as a full length beverage. Kevin noted that the crate's coils should spiral away from the longwire and not run // to it.
