I get a lot of junk down there too, very hard to figure out where most of it
comes from. The CFL bulbs aren't generally noisy, at least none of the many
in this house are noisy.

It may not be a beacon, but some carrier of some form on 188 khz. Strong
too. I wonder if it is from one of those RF light bulbs or something
else? Anyway there is a lot of junk down there I get.
