Amazon is known for jumping the release date gun. If a book or DVD is set to be released on, say a Tuesday, you could pre-order it say on the preceding Wednesday and maybe get the book delivered on the actual release date. I have heard of that happening in reference to Harry Potter books and certain DVD's. I do like Amazon.
I hope that you all enjoy the WRTH, I used it lots for SW (when I DX'ed SWBC bands). Since I don't try for TA's, it doesn't help me as much on MW (i.e. been years since I saw one). 73, Dave in Indy ------------------------------ Message: 11 Date: Mon, 2 Feb 2009 22:23:30 -0800 From: "Steve Ratzlaff" <[email protected]> Subject: [IRCA] OT: 2009 WRTH shipped To: "Mailing list for the International Radio Club of America" <[email protected]> Message-ID: <3a3462543a7f4c5bbc3d8e4a1ae8d...@dg1r70f1> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original Just got a message from Amazon saying my order for the 2009 WRTH was shipped, estimated delivery Feb. 6. So everyone else who ordered one should be getting theirs soon too. I only ordered it today, Monday, knowing it wouldn't be released until Feb. 3 (Tuesday). It must already be Tuesday wherever the Amazon order site is located.
