The Canadian media carried this article pretty much system wide
yesterday...

"Students achieve radio first by building their own radio transmitter and
 communicating with a space station!"

Apparently all the student amateur radio clubs from the 
70's, 80's, 90's and so on never actually contacted
Sky-lab, MIR station and various space shuttles...

It drives me crazy when big media does not bother with 
a google search prior to printing something...
