A little bit like yesterday, favoring the lower part of the band, but not much sunrise lift. Listened from 1425 to 1450UT and 1510 to 1520UT, with a brief visit at 1540 to hear NHK2 sign off.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 279 R. Rossii 594 JOAK 639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1437UT 774 JOUB at 1512UT reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 567 JOIK //594 at 1431UT 603 HLSA and second station at 1444 747 JOIB at 1428 828 JOBB at 1440UT; quite poor earlier 972 HLCA 1426UT not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 531 JOQG //594 at 1430UT, faint but clear with a wondrous lack of splatter 558 w/mx not //603 at 1513 (JOCR?) 612 JOLK //594 at 1448, soon faded u/EE sounding talk (4QR?), but back alone at 1514UT 936 likely Anhui at various times 1134 S.Korea //972 at 1443 1287 JOHR w/JJ talk at 1519UT 1377 CNR-1 //5030 at 1442 1566 HLAZ 1519UT Burbles in the splatter and noise: 648 657 singing and big hum likely N. Korea 693 seemed //828, so JOAB 702 seemed //774, so JOKD/JOFB 873 seemed //828, so JOGB 855 choral mx and hum likely N.
