Hi Powell,

???? You are correct about the sensitivity of the C.Crane SWP model.? When this
model was first introduced in December of 2007, I ordered one of the first
production models for review in the 2008 Shootout.? Unfortunately, the radio
had a defective part in the RF board, which made the sensitivity awful (even
after alignment).? Having no other model for comparison, I assumed it was a
genetic defect, and it was so reported.

???? The recent modification craze made me take another look at this E100-like
model, after the E100 was discontinued.? It was then discovered that the
C.Crane SWP is actually quite a sensitive little radio, and an excellent Slider
recipient.

???? 73,? Gary?

in Two New Models

I told Gary the CC-SWP I had was the most sensitive small radio I had. It has
better audio through the small speaker than the Sangean DT-400W. It actually,
through the headphones, shows that the overall audio is superior .... which it
is. There is another Ultralite that should be out soon. the Mini 400.
