As Bill and Walt noted, a better morning than most recently, though it wasn't so much strength of signals, as quantity. Now to get enough time to actually listen to things.
Because of going to summer time (it's been snowing all morning here as a form of celebration), I started listening an hour earlier than last week, and thought that was the reason for the unusual number of weak audios when I tuned in from 1320 for about 15 minutes, but no, things were still pretty good at various other times up to about 1430UT. 1161 was the mystery unID today. pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 774 JOUB 828 JOBB at 1419UT reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK 873 JOGB //774 at 1330UT 1134 S.Korea //972 at 1408; JOQR underneath 1575 VoA SE Asian talk by woman 1358UT not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 702 JOKD/JOFB //774 at 1406UT 747 JOIB 954 likely JOKR w/JJ talk 972 HLCA 1540UT 1161 unID at 1401 and 1435UT; vaguely oriental sounding vocal/instrumental mx; not //5030 or 594, possibly BCC Taiwan (has been heard at Grayland) 1287 likely JOHR w/JJ talk at 1339 1566 HLAZ, monster carrier 1593 CNR-1 //5030 at 1335UT Burbles in the splatter and noise: 153, 189, 234 R.
