Another rather unexciting morning (even less exciting than usual?), though as Walt noticed, there were more signs of Down Unders this time. Listened around 1325, 1350 and 1415UT for a few minutes each time
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 774 JOUB at 1353 with something weaker underneath sounding EE, likely 3LO? reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK 1357 and 1414UT 1566 HLAZ at 1356UT not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 747 JOIB 828 JOBB 972 HLCA at 1415UT, just a big carrier earlier Burbles in the splatter and noise: 612 at 1417UT, EE sounding talk //702, so 4QR 639 at 1355, island sounding mx, the loop agreed that Fiji was likely 702 2BL per parallel with 612 at 1417UT 873 unID; couldn't really snag a //NHK-2, though perhaps most likely JOGB 954 JJ inflected talk, so JOKR? 1116 at 1359; lots of splash, but talk sounded like DU EE; 4BC most likely 1134 unID 1287 JOHR? 1575 VoA? Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 666, 1053 w/100Hz hum, 1098 DU, 1242, 1269, 1422, 1593 best wishes, Nick ********** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
