I now have Verizon FIOS fiberoptic for phone and internet. I didn't buy the TV
option. I've had it for 2 years. The only problem is that they provide battery
back-up for power outages and the power supply which keeps it charged is a poor
quality one - and other have the same issues - and it generates noise in
various places well up into SW. It can be nulled, and nit diminishes with
distance, so in some installations it wouldn't be an issue.

Prior to that I had Verizon DSL. There was a degree of noise coming through
which I never completely found the source of, but it only bothered me on FM.
The AM was fine - never had any noise problems otherwise. I managed to make the
FM noise tolerable by running a couple of additional Ethernet adaptors in the
line to subdue the noise.

I've never had cable - costs too much because you're buying 2/3 of the channel
package which you'll never watch - so I can't comment on that part of it.
