I have a tube type RCA B-411. It runs on a D cell for filaments and 67.5 B 
battery for the other voltages. 1951 says the tube dates. It has all the 
original tubes.  As for the GE, if it's the one I am thinking of, one of their 
early transistor radios was in the same exact case.
